In which Dean tells Cas how he feels before the Empty takes them both…- Happy one-year anniversary to the confession scene 💗
Hi Neil,
How much has your work been inspired by Goncharov (1973)?
The whole of Season 2 of Good Omens was inspired by Goncharov. Dottie and Sadie, Aziraphale and Crowley’s wives, were basically my take on Perdita and Brigitte, the two tourists who worked in the condom factory, and the whole Goncharov helium balloons and clowns sequence. For that matter, without Goncharov it would never have occurred to me to have made the comedy in episode 4 the fact that Dottie and Sadie and their husbands have unknowingly all been booked in the same hotel room, or to have had the Archangel Gabriel played by a chinchilla. Yes.
I just spent the whole morning researching wines because yesterday I had a job interview at a wine bar that’s looking for a waitress for the weekends and they agreed to let me try tonight. I am straight up terrified in a way I haven’t been for months. I don’t want to mess up….
If britishnatural happened, would the British men of letters still be a thing or would a different country’s MOL be a problem?

cas’s angelic love for dean coming in full force when he turns human to the point he finally understands what that excitement engulfing his body is and what those little flutters in his stomach are when he’s around dean. then we have dean’s human love for cas withering into an empty emotion when he turns into a demon to the point he knows it’s there but it’s stale and hallow with no way to feel it.
but, like, cas knew he had some feelings towards dean, but becoming a human solidified it while also offering understanding of what those feelings were. and dean, although embracing more of himself than ever as a demon, was lacking that connection with his emotions and that love he has.
the only Lord of the Rings crossover I think could really work is with Homer. I believe in my heart that Odysseus could get so lost he’d end up in Valinor
“The magic system is never fully explained” yeah that’s how life works. Imagine having a story set in modern day America and the characters have several pages of exposition on combustion engines and telecommunication networks before we get to the plot
i think this is absolutely correct and good writing advice but also victor hugo would like to have a word with you about the parisian sewer system circa 1832
